Hi, I'm Alice - a Sheridan animation alumni from Canada. I used to be a graphic designer and website coder in middle school during the early days of the internet from 2006-2010. This was before website builders were common! And yes, I remember things like fanlistings, 88x31 buttons, contests and award pages... I had 4 total websites - a website starting on Piczo, then I transferred to being a graphics site subdomain with very lovely hosts, which was pretty common back then. I also had 2 blogs that never quite got off the ground haha. I quit in 2010, when I was starting to get more interested in art - the two interests clashed so I decided to focus on art in my spare time. Although I never really intended to go back to graphics, I found out about Neocities sometime in late 2020, and it's all been downhill (uphill?!) from there. Nowadays I'm more interested in the coding aspect of websites, rather than graphics, so I don't think I'd make icons again, but I'm definitely interested in expanding my layout knowledge.
I'm familiar with the programming languages HTML, CSS, PHP, and currently learning Javascript! Although I've been working on websites from the years of 2006-2010, I only really remember about 2 years of being active. My earliest 2 websites weren't archived at all, but I wish they were, haha.
