Why make this site? I noticed a trend where artists would link commission info on an external website, usually on Google Docs or Weebly, but I found the Neocities commission sites so cute, and it inspired me to pick up coding again, which was once a hobby for me way back in middle school. It was a bit difficult to design something that was both modern yet nostalgic, and to optimize it for mobile/dark mode viewing. It's been really charming to see both millennials and teens bond over personalized static websites in the last few years.
