三度目の奇跡は未来の君からの『マゴコロ』
According to the PSD file, the header image was created in 2016 but... that doesn't sound right haha - I stopped making graphics in 2009. Even if I did make this in 2016, I have no recollection of it at all!
Can you believe I was inspired to think about graphics again because I was rewatching FMA?! Now you're probably thinking, what does FMA have to do with this Kagamine twins layout? FMA quite simply reminds me of an earlier time on the internet.
I've been on the internet every day for many years...
Only within the last year have I heard of a little website called Wayback Machine. Where was it all my life?! You can tell I fell into a bout of nostalgia, frantically searching for traces of old blogs I used to frequent. Some led to dead ends, many images did not load haha. I really miss the era of highly customizable, 2000s web design, before the age of social media...
This layout's HTML and CSS were taken from a similar old 2009 layout I'd previously done, a D.Gray-man layout called Paradox. My layouts were pretty simple back then, and I kept this simply as well - perfect to re-integrate myself into graphics again after a 10 year "retirement". This was a nice learning experience - it's fascinating how many DIV layers you can have in a single theme. This one has 5 different DIV layers, while Paradox only had 1 - probably because I didn't really know the capabilities of DIV. This layout also features a link hover script on the navigation, inspired by tumblr themes I've seen over the years. I don't know if these scripts are modern or if they were around in the late 2000s/early 2010s haha. In the future, I'd like to learn how to make my layouts more complex!
